In 2024, Tim Hortons — the restaurant chain is as ingrained in Canadian culture as hockey or kindness — was celebrating its sixtieth anniversary. To mark the occasion, the brand wanted to do something big. Something befitting the significance of the milestone and something that upheld their longstanding tradition of shining a spotlight on real Canadian stories. So to celebrate sixty, we shone a literal spotlight on a remarkable Canadian story made for the stage.

The Last Timbit: A 60th Anniversary Musical is a musical inspired by real Canadian stories. It is about a group of people from different walks of life who get snowed in at a Tim Hortons restaurant during the blizzard of the decade. The story explores family, the power of community, and making the best of hard times.

"It's been an honour and privilege to support the Canadian arts community through creating and staging 'The Last Timbit.’  We were so fortunate to get to work with some of the very best in Canadian theatre to celebrate the unique and powerful connections we've had with our guests since 1964" - Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons

"Great musical theatre is telling compelling stories. Every day across the country, millions of Canadians come together at Tim Hortons where life's stories unfold." - executive producer Michael Rubinoff, Olivier Award winner and recipient of the originating producer of Come From Away
