The Autograph
In 1968, a young Wayne Gretzky received an autograph from Tim Horton at a restaurant opening in Brantford, Ontario. This chance encounter helped Gretzky believe that he could become a professional hockey player. Inspired by this real story, Gut and Tim Hortons created a 90-second film to celebrate two Canadian legends and launch a brand partnership that was 50 years in the making.
"This film really showcases two things: first, the inspirational power that a single moment can have—changing the course of your life, and history, forever." – Paloma Azulay, Former Tim Hortons Chief Marketer
"It's probably one of the most applied-to roles in the history of Canadian advertising—a true milestone!" – Juan Javier Peña Plaza, Chief Creative Officer, GUT Miami
